38) সূরা ছোয়াদ (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 88[বাংলা অর্থ সহ]

ﺇِﺫْ ﻋُﺮِﺽَ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻪِ ﺑِﺎﻟْﻌَﺸِﻲِّ
ﺍﻟﺼَّﺎﻓِﻨَﺎﺕُ ﺍﻟْﺠِﻴَﺎﺩُ
(31
যখন তার
সামনে অপরাহ্নে উৎকৃষ্ট
অশ্বরাজি পেশ করা হল,
When there were
displayed before him,
in the afternoon, well
trained horses of the
highest breed [for
Jihâd (holy fighting in
Allâh’s Cause)].
ﻓَﻘَﺎﻝَ ﺇِﻧِّﻲ ﺃَﺣْﺒَﺒْﺖُ ﺣُﺐَّ
ﺍﻟْﺨَﻴْﺮِ ﻋَﻦ ﺫِﻛْﺮِ ﺭَﺑِّﻲ ﺣَﺘَّﻰ
ﺗَﻮَﺍﺭَﺕْ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺤِﺠَﺎﺏِ
(32
তখন সে বললঃ আমি তো আমার
পরওয়ারদেগারের
স্মরণে বিস্মৃত হয়ে সম্পদের
মহব্বতে মুগ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছি-
এমনকি সূর্য ডুবে গেছে।
And he said: ”Alas! I
did love the good
(these horses)
instead of
remembering my
Lord (in my ’Asr
prayer)” till the time
was over, and (the
sun) had hidden in
the veil (of night).
ﺭُﺩُّﻭﻫَﺎ ﻋَﻠَﻲَّ ﻓَﻄَﻔِﻖَ
ﻣَﺴْﺤًﺎ ﺑِﺎﻟﺴُّﻮﻕِ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺄَﻋْﻨَﺎﻕِ
(33
এগুলোকে আমার
কাছে ফিরিয়ে আন। অতঃপর
সে তাদের পা ও গলদেশ ছেদন
করতে শুরু করল।
Then he said ”Bring
them (horses) back to
me.” Then he began
to pass his hand over
their legs and their
necks (till the end of
the display).
ﻭَﻟَﻘَﺪْ ﻓَﺘَﻨَّﺎ ﺳُﻠَﻴْﻤَﺎﻥَ ﻭَﺃَﻟْﻘَﻴْﻨَﺎ
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﻛُﺮْﺳِﻴِّﻪِ ﺟَﺴَﺪًﺍ ﺛُﻢَّ
ﺃَﻧَﺎﺏَ
(34
আমি সোলায়মানকে পরীক্ষা
করলাম এবং রেখে দিলাম তার
সিংহাসনের উপর
একটি নিস্প্রাণ দেহ। অতঃপর
সে রুজু হল।
And, indeed We did
try Sulaimân
(Solomon) and We
placed on his throne
Jasadan (a devil, so
he lost his kingdom
for a while) but he
did return (to his
throne and kingdom
by the Grace of Allâh
and he did return) to
Allâh with obedience
and in repentance.
ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺭَﺏِّ ﺍﻏْﻔِﺮْ ﻟِﻲ ﻭَﻫَﺐْ
ﻟِﻲ ﻣُﻠْﻜًﺎ ﻟَّﺎ ﻳَﻨﺒَﻐِﻲ ﻟِﺄَﺣَﺪٍ
ﻣِّﻦْ ﺑَﻌْﺪِﻱ ﺇِﻧَّﻚَ ﺃَﻧﺖَ
ﺍﻟْﻮَﻫَّﺎﺏُ
(35
সোলায়মান বললঃ হে আমার
পালনকর্তা, আমাকে মাফ করুন
এবং আমাকে এমন সাম্রাজ্য
দান করুন যা আমার পরে আর
কেউ পেতে পারবে না। নিশ্চয়
আপনি মহাদাতা।
He said: ”My Lord!
Forgive me, and
bestow upon me a
kingdom such as
shall not belong to
any other after me:
Verily, You are the
Bestower.”
ﻓَﺴَﺨَّﺮْﻧَﺎ ﻟَﻪُ ﺍﻟﺮِّﻳﺢَ ﺗَﺠْﺮِﻱ
ﺑِﺄَﻣْﺮِﻩِ ﺭُﺧَﺎﺀ ﺣَﻴْﺚُ ﺃَﺻَﺎﺏَ
(36
তখন আমি বাতাসকে তার
অনুগত করে দিলাম, যা তার
হুকুমে অবাধে প্রবাহিত হত
যেখানে সে পৌছাতে চাইত।
So, We subjected to
him the wind, it blew
gently to his order
whithersoever he
willed,
ﻭَﺍﻟﺸَّﻴَﺎﻃِﻴﻦَ ﻛُﻞَّ ﺑَﻨَّﺎﺀ
ﻭَﻏَﻮَّﺍﺹٍ
(37
আর সকল শয়তানকে তার
অধীন করে দিলাম অর্থৎ,
যারা ছিল প্রাসাদ
নির্মাণকারী ও ডুবুরী।
And also the Shayâtin
(devils) from the
jinns (including)
every kind of builder
and diver,
ﻭَﺁﺧَﺮِﻳﻦَ ﻣُﻘَﺮَّﻧِﻴﻦَ ﻓِﻲ
ﺍﻟْﺄَﺻْﻔَﺎﺩِ
(38
এবং অন্য আরও
অনেককে অধীন করে দিলাম,
যারা আবদ্ধ থাকত শৃঙ্খলে।
And also others
bound in fetters.
ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻋَﻄَﺎﺅُﻧَﺎ ﻓَﺎﻣْﻨُﻦْ ﺃَﻭْ
ﺃَﻣْﺴِﻚْ ﺑِﻐَﻴْﺮِ ﺣِﺴَﺎﺏٍ
(39
এগুলো আমার অনুগ্রহ, অতএব,
এগুলো কাউকে দাও
অথবা নিজে রেখে দাও-এর কোন
হিসেব দিতে হবে না।
[Saying of Allâh to
Sulaimân (Solomon)]:
”This is Our gift, so
spend you or
withhold, no account
will be asked.”
ﻭَﺇِﻥَّ ﻟَﻪُ ﻋِﻨﺪَﻧَﺎ ﻟَﺰُﻟْﻔَﻰ
ﻭَﺣُﺴْﻦَ ﻣَﺂﺏٍ
(40
নিশ্চয় তার জন্যে আমার
কাছে রয়েছে মর্যাদা ও শুভ
পরিণতি।
And verily, he
enjoyed a near access
to Us, and a good
final return (Paradise)
.
ﻭَﺍﺫْﻛُﺮْ ﻋَﺒْﺪَﻧَﺎ ﺃَﻳُّﻮﺏَ ﺇِﺫْ ﻧَﺎﺩَﻯ
ﺭَﺑَّﻪُ ﺃَﻧِّﻲ ﻣَﺴَّﻨِﻲَ ﺍﻟﺸَّﻴْﻄَﺎﻥُ
ﺑِﻨُﺼْﺐٍ ﻭَﻋَﺬَﺍﺏٍ
(41
স্মরণ করুণ, আমার
বান্দা আইয়্যুবের কথা, যখন
সে তার পালনকর্তাকে আহবান
করে বললঃ শয়তান
আমাকে যন্ত্রণা ও কষ্ট
পৌছিয়েছে।
And remember Our
slave Ayûb (Job),
when he invoked his
Lord (saying): ”Verily!
Shaitân (Satan) has
touched me with
distress (by losing my
health) and torment
(by losing my
wealth)!
ﺍﺭْﻛُﺾْ ﺑِﺮِﺟْﻠِﻚَ ﻫَﺬَﺍ
ﻣُﻐْﺘَﺴَﻞٌ ﺑَﺎﺭِﺩٌ ﻭَﺷَﺮَﺍﺏٌ
(42
তুমি তোমার
পা দিয়ে ভূমিতে আঘাত কর।
ঝরণা নির্গত হল গোসল করার
জন্যে শীতল ও পান করার
জন্যে।
(Allâh said to him):
”Strike the ground
with your foot: This
is a spring of water
to wash in, cool and
a (refreshing) drink.”
ﻭَﻭَﻫَﺒْﻨَﺎ ﻟَﻪُ ﺃَﻫْﻠَﻪُ ﻭَﻣِﺜْﻠَﻬُﻢ
ﻣَّﻌَﻬُﻢْ ﺭَﺣْﻤَﺔً ﻣِّﻨَّﺎ ﻭَﺫِﻛْﺮَﻯ
ﻟِﺄُﻭْﻟِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺄَﻟْﺒَﺎﺏِ
(43
আমি তাকে দিলাম তার
পরিজনবর্গ ও তাদের মত
আরও অনেক আমার পক্ষ
থেকে রহমতস্বরূপ
এবং বুদ্ধিমানদের
জন্যে উপদেশস্বরূপ।
And We gave him
(back) his family, and
along with them the
like thereof, as a
Mercy from Us, and a
Reminder for those
who understand.
ﻭَﺧُﺬْ ﺑِﻴَﺪِﻙَ ﺿِﻐْﺜًﺎ ﻓَﺎﺿْﺮِﺏ
ﺑِّﻪِ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗَﺤْﻨَﺚْ ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﻭَﺟَﺪْﻧَﺎﻩُ
ﺻَﺎﺑِﺮًﺍ ﻧِﻌْﻢَ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺒْﺪُ ﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﺃَﻭَّﺍﺏٌ
(44
তুমি তোমার হাতে এক
মুঠো তৃণশলা নাও,
তদ্বারা আঘাত কর এবং শপথ
ভঙ্গ করো না।
আমি তাকে পেলাম সবরকারী।
চমৎকার বান্দা সে। নিশ্চয়
সে ছিল প্রত্যাবর্তনশীল।
”And take in your
hand a bundle of thin
grass and strike
therewith (your wife)
, and break not your
oath . Truly! We
found him patient.
How excellent (a)
slave! Verily, he was
ever oft-returning in
repentance (to Us)!
ﻭَﺍﺫْﻛُﺮْ ﻋِﺒَﺎﺩَﻧَﺎ ﺇﺑْﺮَﺍﻫِﻴﻢَ
ﻭَﺇِﺳْﺤَﻖَ ﻭَﻳَﻌْﻘُﻮﺏَ ﺃُﻭْﻟِﻲ
ﺍﻟْﺄَﻳْﺪِﻱ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺄَﺑْﺼَﺎﺭِ
(45
স্মরণ করুন, হাত ও চোখের
অধিকারী আমার
বান্দা ইব্রাহীম, ইসহাক ও
ইয়াকুবের কথা।
And remember Our
slaves, Ibrâhim
(Abraham), Ishâque
(Isaac), and Ya’qûb
(Jacob), (all) owners
of strength (in
worshipping Us) and
(also) of religious
understanding.
ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﺃَﺧْﻠَﺼْﻨَﺎﻫُﻢ ﺑِﺨَﺎﻟِﺼَﺔٍ
ﺫِﻛْﺮَﻯ ﺍﻟﺪَّﺍﺭِ
(46
আমি তাদের এক বিশেষ গুণ
তথা পরকালের স্মরণ
দ্বারা স্বাতন্ত্র্য দান
করেছিলাম।
Verily, We did choose
them by granting
them (a good thing,
i.e.) the
remembrance of the
home [in the
Hereafter and they
used to make the
people remember it,
and also they used to
invite the people to
obey Allâh and to do
good deeds for the
Hereafter].
ﻭَﺇِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻋِﻨﺪَﻧَﺎ ﻟَﻤِﻦَ
ﺍﻟْﻤُﺼْﻄَﻔَﻴْﻦَ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺧْﻴَﺎﺭِ
(47
আর তারা আমার
কাছে মনোনীত ও সৎলোকদের
অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
And they are with Us,
verily, of the chosen
and the best!
ﻭَﺍﺫْﻛُﺮْ ﺇِﺳْﻤَﺎﻋِﻴﻞَ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻴَﺴَﻊَ
ﻭَﺫَﺍ ﺍﻟْﻜِﻔْﻞِ ﻭَﻛُﻞٌّ ﻣِّﻦْ
ﺍﻟْﺄَﺧْﻴَﺎﺭِ
(48
স্মরণ করুণ, ইসমাঈল, আল
ইয়াসা ও যুলকিফলের কথা।
তারা প্রত্যেকেই গুনীজন।
And remember
Ismâ’il (Ishmael), Al­
Yasa’â (Elisha), and
Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all
are among the best.
ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﺫِﻛْﺮٌ ﻭَﺇِﻥَّ ﻟِﻠْﻤُﺘَّﻘِﻴﻦَ
ﻟَﺤُﺴْﻦَ ﻣَﺂﺏٍ
(49
এ এক মহৎ আলোচনা।
খোদাভীরুদের
জন্যে রয়েছে উত্তম ঠিকানা-
This is a Reminder,
and verily, for the
Muttaqûn (pious and
righteous persons -
see V.2:2) is a good
final return (Paradise)
, -,
ﺟَﻨَّﺎﺕِ ﻋَﺪْﻥٍ ﻣُّﻔَﺘَّﺤَﺔً ﻟَّﻬُﻢُ
ﺍﻟْﺄَﺑْﻮَﺍﺏُ
(50
তথা স্থায়ী বসবাসের জান্নাত;
তাদের জন্যে তার দ্বার
উম্মুক্ত রয়েছে।
’Adn (Edn) Paradise
(everlasting Gardens),
whose doors will be
open for them, [It is
said (in Tafsir At-
Tabarî, Part 23, Page
174) that one can
speak to the doors,
just one tells it to
open and close, and
it will open or close
as it is ordered].
ﻣُﺘَّﻜِﺌِﻴﻦَ ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ ﻳَﺪْﻋُﻮﻥَ ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ
ﺑِﻔَﺎﻛِﻬَﺔٍ ﻛَﺜِﻴﺮَﺓٍ ﻭَﺷَﺮَﺍﺏٍ
(51
সেখানে তারা হেলান দিয়ে বসবে।
তারা সেখানে চাইবে অনেক ফল-
মূল ও পানীয়।
Therein they will
recline; therein they
will call for fruits in
abundance and
drinks;
ﻭَﻋِﻨﺪَﻫُﻢْ ﻗَﺎﺻِﺮَﺍﺕُ ﺍﻟﻄَّﺮْﻑِ
ﺃَﺗْﺮَﺍﺏٌ
(52
তাদের কাছে থাকবে আনতনয়না
সমবয়স্কা রমণীগণ।
And beside them will
be chaste females
(virgins) restraining
their glances only for
their husbands, (and)
of equal ages.
ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻣَﺎ ﺗُﻮﻋَﺪُﻭﻥَ ﻟِﻴَﻮْﻡِ
ﺍﻟْﺤِﺴَﺎﺏِ
(53
তোমাদেরকে এরই
প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হচ্ছে বিচার
দিবসের জন্যে।
This it is what you
(Al-Muttaqûn - the
pious) are promised
for the Day of
Reckoning!
ﺇِﻥَّ ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻟَﺮِﺯْﻗُﻨَﺎ ﻣَﺎ ﻟَﻪُ ﻣِﻦ
ﻧَّﻔَﺎﺩٍ
(54
এটা আমার দেয়া রিযিক যা শেষ
হবে না।
(It will be said to
them)! Verily, this is
Our Provision which
will never finish;
ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻭَﺇِﻥَّ ﻟِﻠﻄَّﺎﻏِﻴﻦَ ﻟَﺸَﺮَّ
ﻣَﺂﺏٍ
(55
এটাতো শুনলে, এখন দুষ্টদের
জন্যে রয়েছে নিকৃষ্ট ঠিকানা
This is so! And for the
Tâghûn
(transgressors,
disobedient to Allâh
and His Messenger -
disbelievers in the
Oneness of Allâh,
criminals, etc.), will
be an evil final return
(Fire),
ﺟَﻬَﻨَّﻢَ ﻳَﺼْﻠَﻮْﻧَﻬَﺎ ﻓَﺒِﺌْﺲَ
ﺍﻟْﻤِﻬَﺎﺩُ
(56
তথা জাহান্নাম।
তারা সেখানে প্রবেশ করবে।
অতএব, কত নিকৃষ্ট সেই
আবাস স্থল।
Hell! Where they will
burn, and worst
(indeed) is that place
to rest!
ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻓَﻠْﻴَﺬُﻭﻗُﻮﻩُ ﺣَﻤِﻴﻢٌ
ﻭَﻏَﺴَّﺎﻕٌ
(57
এটা উত্তপ্ত পানি ও পঁূজ;
অতএব তারা একে আস্বাদন
করুক।
This is so! Then let
them taste it, a
boiling fluid and dirty
wound discharges.
ﻭَﺁﺧَﺮُ ﻣِﻦ ﺷَﻜْﻠِﻪِ ﺃَﺯْﻭَﺍﺝٌ
(58
এ ধরনের আরও কিছু
শাস্তি আছে।
And other torments
of similar kind, all
together!
ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻓَﻮْﺝٌ ﻣُّﻘْﺘَﺤِﻢٌ ﻣَّﻌَﻜُﻢْ ﻟَﺎ
ﻣَﺮْﺣَﺒًﺎ ﺑِﻬِﻢْ ﺇِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﺻَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ
ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺭِ
(59
এই তো একদল তোমাদের
সাথে প্রবেশ করছে। তাদের
জন্যে অভিনন্দন নেই
তারা তো জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ
করবে।
This is a troop
entering with you (in
Hell), no welcome for
them! Verily, they
shall burn in the Fire!
ﻗَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ ﺑَﻞْ ﺃَﻧﺘُﻢْ ﻟَﺎ ﻣَﺮْﺣَﺒًﺎ
ﺑِﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﻧﺘُﻢْ ﻗَﺪَّﻣْﺘُﻤُﻮﻩُ ﻟَﻨَﺎ
ﻓَﺒِﺌْﺲَ ﺍﻟْﻘَﺮَﺍﺭُ
(60
তারা বলবে, তোমাদের জন্যে ও
তো অভিনন্দন নেই। তোমরাই
আমাদেরকে এ বিপদের সম্মুখীন
করেছ। অতএব, এটি কতই
না ঘৃণ্য আবাসস্থল।
(The followers of the
misleaders will say):
”Nay, you (too)! No
welcome for you! It
is you (misleaders)
who brought this
upon us (because you
misled us in the
world), so evil is this
place to stay in!”
