70) সূরা আল মা’আরিজ (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 44[বাংলা অর্থ সহ]

ﺑِﺴْﻢِ ﺍﻟﻠّﻪِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤـَﻦِ
ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣِﻴﻢِ
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর
নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়,
অতি দয়ালু।
ﺳَﺄَﻝَ ﺳَﺎﺋِﻞٌ ﺑِﻌَﺬَﺍﺏٍ ﻭَﺍﻗِﻊٍ

একব্যক্তি চাইল, সেই আযাব
সংঘটিত হোক যা অবধারিত-
A questioner asked
concerning a torment
about to befall
ﻟِّﻠْﻜَﺎﻓِﺮﻳﻦَ ﻟَﻴْﺲَ ﻟَﻪُ ﺩَﺍﻓِﻊٌ
(2
কাফেরদের জন্যে, যার
প্রতিরোধকারী কেউ নেই।
Upon the
disbelievers, which
none can avert,
ﻣِّﻦَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺫِﻱ ﺍﻟْﻤَﻌَﺎﺭِﺝِ
(3
তা আসবে আল্লাহ তা’আলার
পক্ষ থেকে, যিনি সমুন্নত
মর্তবার অধিকারী।
From Allâh, the Lord
of the ways of ascent.
ﺗَﻌْﺮُﺝُ ﺍﻟْﻤَﻠَﺎﺋِﻜَﺔُ ﻭَﺍﻟﺮُّﻭﺡُ ﺇِﻟَﻴْﻪِ
ﻓِﻲ ﻳَﻮْﻡٍ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻣِﻘْﺪَﺍﺭُﻩُ
ﺧَﻤْﺴِﻴﻦَ ﺃَﻟْﻒَ ﺳَﻨَﺔٍ
(4
ফেরেশতাগণ এবং রূহ আল্লাহ
তা’আলার দিকে উর্ধ্বগামী হয়
এমন একদিনে, যার পরিমাণ
পঞ্চাশ হাজার বছর।
The angels and the
Rûh [Jibrael (Gabriel)]
ascend to Him in a
Day the measure
whereof is fifty
thousand years,
ﻓَﺎﺻْﺒِﺮْ ﺻَﺒْﺮًﺍ ﺟَﻤِﻴﻠًﺎ
(5
অতএব, আপনি উত্তম সবর
করুন।
So be patient (O
Muhammad SAW ),
with a good patience.
ﺇِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻳَﺮَﻭْﻧَﻪُ ﺑَﻌِﻴﺪًﺍ
(6
তারা এই আযাবকে সুদূরপরাহত
মনে করে,
Verily! They see it
(the torment) afar
off,
ﻭَﻧَﺮَﺍﻩُ ﻗَﺮِﻳﺒًﺎ
(7
আর আমি একে আসন্ন দেখছি।
But We see it (quite)
near.
ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺗَﻜُﻮﻥُ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻤَﺎﺀ ﻛَﺎﻟْﻤُﻬْﻞِ
(8
সেদিন আকাশ হবে গলিত তামার
মত।
The Day that the sky
will be like the
boiling filth of oil, (or
molten copper or
silver or lead, etc.).
ﻭَﺗَﻜُﻮﻥُ ﺍﻟْﺠِﺒَﺎﻝُ ﻛَﺎﻟْﻌِﻬْﻦِ
(9
এবং পর্বতসমূহ হবে রঙ্গীন
পশমের মত,
And the mountains
will be like flakes of
wool,
ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻳَﺴْﺄَﻝُ ﺣَﻤِﻴﻢٌ ﺣَﻤِﻴﻤًﺎ
(10
বন্ধু বন্ধুর খবর নিবে না।
And no friend will ask
of a friend,
ﻳُﺒَﺼَّﺮُﻭﻧَﻬُﻢْ ﻳَﻮَﺩُّ ﺍﻟْﻤُﺠْﺮِﻡُ ﻟَﻮْ
ﻳَﻔْﺘَﺪِﻱ ﻣِﻦْ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏِ ﻳَﻮْﻣِﺌِﺬٍ
ﺑِﺒَﻨِﻴﻪِ
(11
যদিও
একে অপরকে দেখতে পাবে।
সেদিন গোনাহগার
ব্যক্তি পনস্বরূপ
দিতে চাইবে তার সন্তান-
সন্ততিকে,
Though they shall be
made to see one
another [(i.e. on the
Day of Resurrection),
there will be none
but see his father,
children and
relatives, but he will
neither speak to
them nor will ask
them for any help)], -
the Mujrim, (criminal,
sinner, disbeliever,
etc.) would desire to
ransom himself from
the punishment of
that Day by his
children.
ﻭَﺻَﺎﺣِﺒَﺘِﻪِ ﻭَﺃَﺧِﻴﻪِ
(12
তার স্ত্রীকে, তার ভ্রাতাকে,
And his wife and his
brother,
ﻭَﻓَﺼِﻴﻠَﺘِﻪِ ﺍﻟَّﺘِﻲ ﺗُﺆْﻭﻳﻪِ
(13
তার গোষ্ঠীকে,
যারা তাকে আশ্রয় দিত।
And his kindred who
sheltered him,
ﻭَﻣَﻦ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺭْﺽِ ﺟَﻤِﻴﻌًﺎ
ﺛُﻢَّ ﻳُﻨﺠِﻴﻪِ
(14
এবং পৃথিবীর সবকিছুকে,
অতঃপর
নিজেকে রক্ষা করতে চাইবে।
And all that are in the
earth, so that it
might save him .
ﻛَﻠَّﺎ ﺇِﻧَّﻬَﺎ ﻟَﻈَﻰ
(15
কখনই নয়। নিশ্চয়
এটা লেলিহান অগ্নি।
By no means! Verily,
it will be the Fire of
Hell!
ﻧَﺰَّﺍﻋَﺔً ﻟِّﻠﺸَّﻮَﻯ
(16
যা চামড়া তুলে দিবে।
Taking away
(burning completely)
the head skin!
ﺗَﺪْﻋُﻮ ﻣَﻦْ ﺃَﺩْﺑَﺮَ ﻭَﺗَﻮَﻟَّﻰ
(17
সে সেই
ব্যক্তিকে ডাকবে যে সত্যের
প্রতি পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করেছিল ও
বিমুখ হয়েছিল।
Calling: ”[O Kafir (O
disbeliever in Allâh,
His angels, His Book,
His Messengers, Day
of Resurrection and
in Al-Qadar (Divine
Preordainments), O
Mushrik (O polytheist,
disbeliever in the
Oneness of Allâh)]
(all) such as turn their
backs and turn away
their faces (from
Faith) [picking and
swallowing them up
from that great
gathering of
mankind (on the Day
of Resurrection) just
as a bird picks up a
food-grain from the
earth with its beak
and swallows it up]

ﻭَﺟَﻤَﻊَ ﻓَﺄَﻭْﻋَﻰ
(18
সম্পদ পুঞ্জীভূত করেছিল,
অতঃপর আগলিয়ে রেখেছিল।
And collect (wealth)
and hide it (from
spending it in the
Cause of Allâh).
ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟْﺈِﻧﺴَﺎﻥَ ﺧُﻠِﻖَ ﻫَﻠُﻮﻋًﺎ
(19
মানুষ তো সৃজিত
হয়েছে ভীরুরূপে।
Verily, man
(disbeliever) was
created very
impatient;
ﺇِﺫَﺍ ﻣَﺴَّﻪُ ﺍﻟﺸَّﺮُّ ﺟَﺰُﻭﻋًﺎ
(20
যখন তাকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করে,
তখন সে হা-হুতাশ করে।
Irritable
(discontented) when
evil touches him;
ﻭَﺇِﺫَﺍ ﻣَﺴَّﻪُ ﺍﻟْﺨَﻴْﺮُ ﻣَﻨُﻮﻋًﺎ
(21
আর যখন কল্যাণপ্রাপ্ত হয়,
তখন কৃপণ হয়ে যায়।
And niggardly when
good touches him;-
ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﺍﻟْﻤُﺼَﻠِّﻴﻦَ
(22
তবে তারা স্বতন্ত্র,
যারা নামায আদায় কারী।
Except those devoted
to Salât (prayers)
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻫُﻢْ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺻَﻠَﺎﺗِﻬِﻢْ
ﺩَﺍﺋِﻤُﻮﻥَ
(23
যারা তাদের
নামাযে সার্বক্ষণিক কায়েম
থাকে।
Those who remain
constant in their
Salât (prayers);
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻓِﻲ ﺃَﻣْﻮَﺍﻟِﻬِﻢْ ﺣَﻖٌّ
ﻣَّﻌْﻠُﻮﻡٌ
(24
এবং যাদের ধন-
সম্পদে নির্ধারিত হক আছে
And those in whose
wealth there is a
known right,
ﻟِّﻠﺴَّﺎﺋِﻞِ ﻭَﺍﻟْﻤَﺤْﺮُﻭﻡِ
(25
যাঞ্ছাকারী ও বঞ্চিতের
For the beggar who
asks, and for the
unlucky who has lost
his property and
wealth, (and his
means of living has
been straitened);
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻳُﺼَﺪِّﻗُﻮﻥَ ﺑِﻴَﻮْﻡِ
ﺍﻟﺪِّﻳﻦِ
(26
এবং যারা প্রতিফল
দিবসকে সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস
করে।
And those who
believe in the Day of
Recompense,
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻫُﻢ ﻣِّﻦْ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏِ
ﺭَﺑِّﻬِﻢ ﻣُّﺸْﻔِﻘُﻮﻥَ
(27
এবং যারা তাদের পালনকর্তার
শাস্তির সম্পর্কে ভীত-
কম্পিত।
And those who fear
the torment of their
Lord,
ﺇِﻥَّ ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏَ ﺭَﺑِّﻬِﻢْ ﻏَﻴْﺮُ
ﻣَﺄْﻣُﻮﻥٍ
(28
নিশ্চয় তাদের পালনকর্তার
শাস্তি থেকে নিঃশঙ্কা থাকা যায়
না।
Verily! The torment
of their Lord is that
before which none
can feel secure,
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻫُﻢْ ﻟِﻔُﺮُﻭﺟِﻬِﻢْ
ﺣَﺎﻓِﻈُﻮﻥَ
(29
এবং যারা তাদের যৌন-
অঙ্গকে সংযত রাখে
And those who guard
their chastity (i.e.
private parts from
illegal sexual acts) .
ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺃَﺯْﻭَﺍﺟِﻬِﻢْ ﺃَﻭْ ﻣَﺎ
ﻣَﻠَﻜَﺖْ ﺃَﻳْﻤَﺎﻧُﻬُﻢْ ﻓَﺈِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻏَﻴْﺮُ
ﻣَﻠُﻮﻣِﻴﻦَ
(30
কিন্তু তাদের
স্ত্রী অথবা মালিকানাভূক্ত
দাসীদের বেলায় তিরস্কৃত
হবে না।
Except with their
wives and the
(women slaves and
captives) whom their
right hands possess,
for (then) they are
not to be blamed,
ﻓَﻤَﻦِ ﺍﺑْﺘَﻐَﻰ ﻭَﺭَﺍﺀ ﺫَﻟِﻚَ
ﻓَﺄُﻭْﻟَﺌِﻚَ ﻫُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺎﺩُﻭﻥَ
(31
অতএব, যারা এদের
ছাড়া অন্যকে কামনা করে,
তারাই সীমালংঘনকারী।
But whosoever seeks
beyond that, then it
is those who are
trespassers.
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻫُﻢْ ﻟِﺄَﻣَﺎﻧَﺎﺗِﻬِﻢْ
ﻭَﻋَﻬْﺪِﻫِﻢْ ﺭَﺍﻋُﻮﻥَ
(32
এবং যারা তাদের আমানত ও
অঙ্গীকার রক্ষা করে
And those who keep
their trusts and
covenants;
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻫُﻢ ﺑِﺸَﻬَﺎﺩَﺍﺗِﻬِﻢْ
ﻗَﺎﺋِﻤُﻮﻥَ
(33
এবং যারা তাদের
সাক্ষ্যদানে সরল-নিষ্ঠাবান
And those who stand
firm in their
testimonies;
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻫُﻢْ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺻَﻠَﺎﺗِﻬِﻢْ
ﻳُﺤَﺎﻓِﻈُﻮﻥَ
(34
এবং যারা তাদের
নামাযে যত্নবান,
And those who guard
their Salât (prayers)
well ,
ﺃُﻭْﻟَﺌِﻚَ ﻓِﻲ ﺟَﻨَّﺎﺕٍ ﻣُّﻜْﺮَﻣُﻮﻥَ
(35
তারাই জান্নাতে সম্মানিত হবে।
Such shall dwell in
the Gardens (i.e.
Paradise) honoured.
ﻓَﻤَﺎﻝِ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭﺍ ﻗِﺒَﻠَﻚَ
ﻣُﻬْﻄِﻌِﻴﻦَ
(36
অতএব, কাফেরদের কি হল যে,
তারা আপনার
দিকে উর্ধ্বশ্বাসে ছুটে আসছে।
So what is the matter
with those who
disbelieve that they
hasten to listen from
you (O Muhammad
SAW), in order to
belie you and to
mock at you, and at
Allâh’s Book (this
Qur’ân).
ﻋَﻦِ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻤِﻴﻦِ ﻭَﻋَﻦِ ﺍﻟﺸِّﻤَﺎﻝِ
ﻋِﺰِﻳﻦَ
(37
ডান ও বামদিক থেকে দলে দলে।
(Sitting) in groups on
the right and on the
left (of you, O
Muhammad SAW)?
ﺃَﻳَﻄْﻤَﻊُ ﻛُﻞُّ ﺍﻣْﺮِﺉٍ ﻣِّﻨْﻬُﻢْ ﺃَﻥ
ﻳُﺪْﺧَﻞَ ﺟَﻨَّﺔَ ﻧَﻌِﻴﻢٍ
(38
তাদের প্রত্যেকেই
কি আশা করে যে,
তাকে নেয়ামতের
জান্নাতে দাখিল করা হবে?
Does every man of
them hope to enter
the Paradise of
delight?
ﻛَﻠَّﺎ ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﺧَﻠَﻘْﻨَﺎﻫُﻢ ﻣِّﻤَّﺎ
ﻳَﻌْﻠَﻤُﻮﻥَ
(39
কখনই নয়, আমি তাদেরকে এমন
বস্তু দ্বারা সৃষ্টি করেছি,
যা তারা জানে।
No, that is not like
that! Verily, We have
created them out of
that which they
know!
ﻓَﻠَﺎ ﺃُﻗْﺴِﻢُ ﺑِﺮَﺏِّ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺸَﺎﺭِﻕِ
ﻭَﺍﻟْﻤَﻐَﺎﺭِﺏِ ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﻟَﻘَﺎﺩِﺭُﻭﻥَ
(40
আমি শপথ করছি উদয়াচল ও
অস্তাচলসমূহের পালনকর্তার,
নিশ্চয়ই আমি সক্ষম!
So I swear by the
Lord of all [the three
hundred and sixty
(360)] points of
sunrise and sunset in
the east and the west
that surely We are
Able
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺃَﻥ ﻧُّﺒَﺪِّﻝَ ﺧَﻴْﺮًﺍ ﻣِّﻨْﻬُﻢْ
ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻧَﺤْﻦُ ﺑِﻤَﺴْﺒُﻮﻗِﻴﻦَ
(41
তাদের পরিবর্তে উৎকৃষ্টতর
মানুষ
সৃষ্টি করতে এবং এটা আমার
সাধ্যের অতীত নয়।
To replace them by
(others) better than
them; and We are
not to be outrun.
ﻓَﺬَﺭْﻫُﻢْ ﻳَﺨُﻮﺿُﻮﺍ ﻭَﻳَﻠْﻌَﺒُﻮﺍ
ﺣَﺘَّﻰ ﻳُﻠَﺎﻗُﻮﺍ ﻳَﻮْﻣَﻬُﻢُ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ
ﻳُﻮﻋَﺪُﻭﻥَ
(42
অতএব,
আপনি তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন,
তারা বাকবিতন্ডা ও ক্রীড়া-
কৌতুক করুক সেই দিবসের
সম্মুখীন হওয়া পর্যন্ত,
যে দিবসের ওয়াদা তাদের
সাথে করা হচ্ছে।
So leave them to
plunge in vain talk
and play about, until
they meet their Day
which they are
promised.
ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﻳَﺨْﺮُﺟُﻮﻥَ ﻣِﻦَ
ﺍﻟْﺄَﺟْﺪَﺍﺙِ ﺳِﺮَﺍﻋًﺎ ﻛَﺄَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ
ﺇِﻟَﻰ ﻧُﺼُﺐٍ ﻳُﻮﻓِﻀُﻮﻥَ
(43
সে দিন তারা কবর
থেকে দ্রুতবেগে বের হবে, যেন
তারা কোন এক লক্ষ্যস্থলের
দিকে ছুটে যাচ্ছে।
The Day when they
will come out of the
graves quickly as
racing to a goal,
ﺧَﺎﺷِﻌَﺔً ﺃَﺑْﺼَﺎﺭُﻫُﻢْ
ﺗَﺮْﻫَﻘُﻬُﻢْ ﺫِﻟَّﺔٌ ﺫَﻟِﻚَ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡُ
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﻛَﺎﻧُﻮﺍ ﻳُﻮﻋَﺪُﻭﻥَ
(44
তাদের দৃষ্টি থাকবে অবনমিত;
তারা হবে হীনতাগ্রস্ত। এটাই
সেইদিন, যার
ওয়াদা তাদেরকে দেয়া হত।
With their eyes
lowered in fear and
humility, ignominy
covering them (all
over)! That is the Day
which they were
promised!
