40) সূরা আল-মু’মিন (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 85[বাংলা অর্থ সহ]

ﺑِﺴْﻢِ ﺍﻟﻠّﻪِ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣْﻤـَﻦِ
ﺍﻟﺮَّﺣِﻴﻢِ
শুরু করছি আল্লাহর
নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়,
অতি দয়ালু।

ﺣﻢ
(1
হা-মীম।
Hâ-Mîm. [These
letters are one of the
miracles of the
Qur’ân, and none but
Allâh (Alone) knows
their meanings].
ﺗَﻨﺰِﻳﻞُ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘَﺎﺏِ ﻣِﻦَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ
ﺍﻟْﻌَﺰِﻳﺰِ ﺍﻟْﻌَﻠِﻴﻢِ

কিতাব অবতীর্ণ
হয়েছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে,
যিনি পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞ।
The revelation of the
Book (this Qur’ân) is
from Allâh the All-
Mighty, the All-
Knower.
ﻏَﺎﻓِﺮِ ﺍﻟﺬَّﻧﺐِ ﻭَﻗَﺎﺑِﻞِ ﺍﻟﺘَّﻮْﺏِ
ﺷَﺪِﻳﺪِ ﺍﻟْﻌِﻘَﺎﺏِ ﺫِﻱ ﺍﻟﻄَّﻮْﻝِ
ﻟَﺎ ﺇِﻟَﻪَ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻫُﻮَ ﺇِﻟَﻴْﻪِ ﺍﻟْﻤَﺼِﻴﺮُ

পাপ ক্ষমাকারী,
তওবা কবুলকারী, কঠোর
শাস্তিদাতা ও সামর্থøবান।
তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য
নেই। তাঁরই
দিকে হবে প্রত্যাবর্তন।
The Forgiver of sin,
the Acceptor of
repentance, the
Severe in
punishment, the
Bestower (of favours)
, Lâ ilâha illa Huwa
(none has the right
to be worshipped but
He), to Him is the
final return.
ﻣَﺎ ﻳُﺠَﺎﺩِﻝُ ﻓِﻲ ﺁﻳَﺎﺕِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭﺍ ﻓَﻠَﺎ ﻳَﻐْﺮُﺭْﻙَ
ﺗَﻘَﻠُّﺒُﻬُﻢْ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺒِﻠَﺎﺩِ

কাফেররাই কেবল আল্লাহর
আয়াত সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে।
কাজেই নগরীসমূহে তাদের
বিচরণ যেন
আপনাকে বিভ্রান্তিতে না
ফেলে।
None disputes in the
Ayât (proofs,
evidences, verses,
lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.) of
Allâh but those who
disbelieve. So let not
their ability of going
about here and there
through the land (for
their purposes)
deceive you [O
Muhammad SAW,
their ultimate end
will be the Fire of
Hell]!
ﻛَﺬَّﺑَﺖْ ﻗَﺒْﻠَﻬُﻢْ ﻗَﻮْﻡُ ﻧُﻮﺡٍ
ﻭَﺍﻟْﺄَﺣْﺰَﺍﺏُ ﻣِﻦ ﺑَﻌْﺪِﻫِﻢْ
ﻭَﻫَﻤَّﺖْ ﻛُﻞُّ ﺃُﻣَّﺔٍ ﺑِﺮَﺳُﻮﻟِﻬِﻢْ
ﻟِﻴَﺄْﺧُﺬُﻭﻩُ ﻭَﺟَﺎﺩَﻟُﻮﺍ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺒَﺎﻃِﻞِ
ﻟِﻴُﺪْﺣِﻀُﻮﺍ ﺑِﻪِ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻖَّ
ﻓَﺄَﺧَﺬْﺗُﻬُﻢْ ﻓَﻜَﻴْﻒَ ﻛَﺎﻥَ
ﻋِﻘَﺎﺏِ

তাদের পূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়
মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, আর
তাদের পরে অন্য অনেক দল ও
প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায় নিজ নিজ
পয়গম্বরকে আক্রমণ করার
ইচ্ছা করেছিল
এবং তারা মিথ্যা বিতর্কে
প্রবৃত্ত হয়েছিল, যেন
সত্যধর্মকে ব্যর্থ
করে দিতে পারে। অতঃপর
আমি তাদেরকে পাকড়াও
করলাম। কেমন ছিল আমার
শাস্তি।
The people of Nûh
(Noah) and the
confederates after
them denied (their
Messengers) before
these, and every
(disbelieving) nation
plotted against their
Messenger to seize
him, and disputed by
means of falsehood
to refute therewith
the truth. So I seized
them (with
punishment), and
how (terrible) was
My punishment!
ﻭَﻛَﺬَﻟِﻚَ ﺣَﻘَّﺖْ ﻛَﻠِﻤَﺖُ ﺭَﺑِّﻚَ
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭﺍ ﺃَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ
ﺃَﺻْﺤَﺎﺏُ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺭِ
(6
এভাবে কাফেরদের বেলায়
আপনার পালনকর্তার এ বাক্য
সত্য হল যে, তারা জাহান্নামী।
Thus has the Word of
your Lord been
justified against
those who
disbelieved, that they
will be the dwellers
of the Fire.
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻳَﺤْﻤِﻠُﻮﻥَ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺮْﺵَ
ﻭَﻣَﻦْ ﺣَﻮْﻟَﻪُ ﻳُﺴَﺒِّﺤُﻮﻥَ
ﺑِﺤَﻤْﺪِ ﺭَﺑِّﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﻳُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮﻥَ ﺑِﻪِ
ﻭَﻳَﺴْﺘَﻐْﻔِﺮُﻭﻥَ ﻟِﻠَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺁﻣَﻨُﻮﺍ
ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﻭَﺳِﻌْﺖَ ﻛُﻞَّ ﺷَﻲْﺀٍ
ﺭَّﺣْﻤَﺔً ﻭَﻋِﻠْﻤًﺎ ﻓَﺎﻏْﻔِﺮْ ﻟِﻠَّﺬِﻳﻦَ
ﺗَﺎﺑُﻮﺍ ﻭَﺍﺗَّﺒَﻌُﻮﺍ ﺳَﺒِﻴﻠَﻚَ ﻭَﻗِﻬِﻢْ
ﻋَﺬَﺍﺏَ ﺍﻟْﺠَﺤِﻴﻢِ

যারা আরশ বহন
করে এবং যারা তার
চারপাশে আছে, তারা তাদের
পালনকর্তার সপ্রশংস
পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করে, তার
প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন
করে এবং মুমিনদের
জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে বলে
, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা,
আপনার রহমত ও জ্ঞান
সবকিছুতে পরিব্যাপ্ত। অতএব,
যারা তওবা করে এবং আপনার
পথে চলে, তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন
এবং জাহান্নামের আযাব
থেকে রক্ষা করুন।
Those (angels) who
bear the Throne (of
Allâh) and those
around it glorify the
praises of their Lord,
and believe in Him,
and ask forgiveness
for those who
believe (in the
Oneness of Allâh)
(saying): ”Our Lord!
You comprehend all
things in mercy and
knowledge, so
forgive those who
repent and follow
Your Way, and save
them from the
torment of the
blazing Fire!
ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﻭَﺃَﺩْﺧِﻠْﻬُﻢْ ﺟَﻨَّﺎﺕِ ﻋَﺪْﻥٍ
ﺍﻟَّﺘِﻲ ﻭَﻋَﺪﺗَّﻬُﻢ ﻭَﻣَﻦ ﺻَﻠَﺢَ
ﻣِﻦْ ﺁﺑَﺎﺋِﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﺃَﺯْﻭَﺍﺟِﻬِﻢْ
ﻭَﺫُﺭِّﻳَّﺎﺗِﻬِﻢْ ﺇِﻧَّﻚَ ﺃَﻧﺖَ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺰِﻳﺰُ
ﺍﻟْﺤَﻜِﻴﻢُ
(8
হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আর
তাদেরকে দাখিল করুন চিরকাল
বসবাসের জান্নাতে, যার
ওয়াদা আপনি তাদেরকে দিয়েছেন
এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদা, পতি-
পত্নী ও সন্তানদের
মধ্যে যারা সৎকর্ম
করে তাদেরকে। নিশ্চয়
আপনি পরাক্রমশালী,
প্রজ্ঞাময়।
”Our Lord! And make
them enter the ’Adn
(Eden) Paradise
(everlasting Gardens)
which you have
promised them, and
to the righteous
among their fathers,
their wives, and their
offspring! Verily, You
are the All-Mighty,
the All-Wise.
ﻭَﻗِﻬِﻢُ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻴِّﺌَﺎﺕِ ﻭَﻣَﻦ ﺗَﻖِ
ﺍﻟﺴَّﻴِّﺌَﺎﺕِ ﻳَﻮْﻣَﺌِﺬٍ ﻓَﻘَﺪْ ﺭَﺣِﻤْﺘَﻪُ
ﻭَﺫَﻟِﻚَ ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟْﻔَﻮْﺯُ ﺍﻟْﻌَﻈِﻴﻢُ
(9
এবং আপনি তাদেরকে অমঙ্গল
থেকে রক্ষা করুন।
আপনি যাকে সেদিন অমঙ্গল
থেকে রক্ষা করবেন, তার
প্রতি অনুগ্রহই করবেন। এটাই
মহাসাফল্য।
”And save them from
(the punishment,
because of what they
did of) the sins, and
whomsoever You
save from (the
punishment, because
of what they did of)
the sins (i.e. excuse
them) that Day, him
verily, You have
taken into mercy.”
And that is the
supreme success.
ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻛَﻔَﺮُﻭﺍ ﻳُﻨَﺎﺩَﻭْﻥَ
ﻟَﻤَﻘْﺖُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺃَﻛْﺒَﺮُ ﻣِﻦ
ﻣَّﻘْﺘِﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﻧﻔُﺴَﻜُﻢْ ﺇِﺫْ
ﺗُﺪْﻋَﻮْﻥَ ﺇِﻟَﻰ ﺍﻟْﺈِﻳﻤَﺎﻥِ
ﻓَﺘَﻜْﻔُﺮُﻭﻥَ
(10
যারা কাফের
তাদেরকে উচ্চঃস্বরে বলা হবে,
তোমাদের নিজেদের
প্রতি তোমাদের আজকের এ
ক্ষোভ অপেক্ষা আল্লার
ক্ষোভ অধিক ছিল, যখন
তোমাদেরকে ঈমান
আনতে বলা হয়েছিল, অতঃপর
তোমরা কুফরী করছিল।
Those who disbelieve
will be addressed (at
the time of entering
into the Fire): ”Allâh’s
aversion was greater
towards you (in the
worldly life when
you used to reject
the Faith) than your
aversion towards one
another (now in the
Fire of Hell, as you
are now enemies to
one another), when
you were called to
the Faith but you
used to refuse.”
ﻗَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ ﺭَﺑَّﻨَﺎ ﺃَﻣَﺘَّﻨَﺎ ﺍﺛْﻨَﺘَﻴْﻦِ
ﻭَﺃَﺣْﻴَﻴْﺘَﻨَﺎ ﺍﺛْﻨَﺘَﻴْﻦِ ﻓَﺎﻋْﺘَﺮَﻓْﻨَﺎ
ﺑِﺬُﻧُﻮﺑِﻨَﺎ ﻓَﻬَﻞْ ﺇِﻟَﻰ ﺧُﺮُﻭﺝٍ
ﻣِّﻦ ﺳَﺒِﻴﻞٍ
(11
তারা বলবে হে আমাদের
পালনকর্তা!
আপনি আমাদেরকে দু’বার মৃত্যু
দিয়েছেন এবং দু’ বার জীবন
দিয়েছেন। এখন আমাদের
অপরাধ স্বীকার করছি।
অতঃপর এখন ও নিস্কৃতির
কোন উপায় আছে কি?
They will say: ”Our
Lord! You have made
us to die twice (i.e.
we were dead in the
loins of our fathers
and dead after our
deaths in this world),
and You have given
us life twice (i.e. life
when we were born
and life when we are
Resurrected)! Now
we confess our sins,
then is there any way
to get out (of the
Fire)?”
ﺫَﻟِﻜُﻢ ﺑِﺄَﻧَّﻪُ ﺇِﺫَﺍ ﺩُﻋِﻲَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ
ﻭَﺣْﺪَﻩُ ﻛَﻔَﺮْﺗُﻢْ ﻭَﺇِﻥ ﻳُﺸْﺮَﻙْ
ﺑِﻪِ ﺗُﺆْﻣِﻨُﻮﺍ ﻓَﺎﻟْﺤُﻜْﻢُ ﻟِﻠَّﻪِ
ﺍﻟْﻌَﻠِﻲِّ ﺍﻟْﻜَﺒِﻴﺮِ
(12
তোমাদের এ বিপদ এ কারণে যে,
যখন এক আল্লাহকে ডাকা হত,
তখন তোমরা কাফের
হয়ে যেতে যখন তার
সাথে শরীককে ডাকা হত তখন
তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করতে।
এখন আদেশ তাই, যা আল্লাহ
করবেন, যিনি সর্বোচ্চ, মহান।
(It will be said): ”This
is because, when
Allâh Alone was
invoked (in worship,
etc.) you disbelieved,
but when partners
were joined to Him,
you believed! So the
judgement is only
with Allâh, the Most
High, the Most
Great!”
ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﻳُﺮِﻳﻜُﻢْ ﺁﻳَﺎﺗِﻪِ
ﻭَﻳُﻨَﺰِّﻝُ ﻟَﻜُﻢ ﻣِّﻦَ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻤَﺎﺀ
ﺭِﺯْﻗًﺎ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻳَﺘَﺬَﻛَّﺮُ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻣَﻦ
ﻳُﻨِﻴﺐُ
(13
তিনিই তোমাদেরকে তাঁর
নিদর্শনাবলী দেখান
এবং তোমাদের জন্যে আকাশ
থেকে নাযিল করেন রুযী।
চিন্তা-ভাবনা তারাই করে,
যারা আল্লাহর দিকে রুজু থাকে।
It is He, Who shows
you His Ayât (proofs,
evidences, verses,
lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.) and
sends down (rain
with which grows)
provision for you
from the sky. And
none remembers but
those who turn (to
Allâh) in obedience
and in repentance
(by begging His
Pardon and by
worshipping and
obeying Him Alone
and none else).
ﻓَﺎﺩْﻋُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻣُﺨْﻠِﺼِﻴﻦَ ﻟَﻪُ
ﺍﻟﺪِّﻳﻦَ ﻭَﻟَﻮْ ﻛَﺮِﻩَ ﺍﻟْﻜَﺎﻓِﺮُﻭﻥَ
(14
অতএব,
তোমরা আল্লাহকে খাঁটি বিশ্বাস
সহকারে ডাক, যদিও
কাফেররা তা অপছন্দ করে।
So, call you (O
Muhammad SAW and
the believers) upon
(or invoke) Allâh
making (your)
worship pure for Him
(Alone) (by
worshipping none
but Him and by
doing religious deeds
sincerely for Allâh’s
sake only and not to
show-off and not to
set up rivals with
Him in worship).
However much the
disbelievers (in the
Oneness of Allâh)
may hate (it).
ﺭَﻓِﻴﻊُ ﺍﻟﺪَّﺭَﺟَﺎﺕِ ﺫُﻭ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺮْﺵِ
ﻳُﻠْﻘِﻲ ﺍﻟﺮُّﻭﺡَ ﻣِﻦْ ﺃَﻣْﺮِﻩِ
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﻣَﻦ ﻳَﺸَﺎﺀ ﻣِﻦْ ﻋِﺒَﺎﺩِﻩِ
ﻟِﻴُﻨﺬِﺭَ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟﺘَّﻠَﺎﻕِ
(15
তিনিই সুউচ্চ মর্যাদার
অধিকারী, আরশের মালিক, তাঁর
বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার
প্রতি ইচ্ছা তত্ত্বপূর্ণ
বিষয়াদি নাযিল করেন,
যাতে সে সাক্ষাতের দিন
সম্পর্কে সকলকে সতর্ক করে।
(He is Allâh) Owner of
High Ranks and
Degrees, the Owner
of the Throne. He
sends the Inspiration
by His Command to
any of His slaves He
wills, that he (the
person who receives
inspiration) may
warn (men) of the
Day of Mutual
Meeting (i.e. The Day
of Resurrection).
ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﻫُﻢ ﺑَﺎﺭِﺯُﻭﻥَ ﻟَﺎ ﻳَﺨْﻔَﻰ
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﻣِﻨْﻬُﻢْ ﺷَﻲْﺀٌ
ﻟِّﻤَﻦِ ﺍﻟْﻤُﻠْﻚُ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ ﻟِﻠَّﻪِ
ﺍﻟْﻮَﺍﺣِﺪِ ﺍﻟْﻘَﻬَّﺎﺭِ
(16
যেদিন তারা বের হয়ে পড়বে,
আল্লাহর কাছে তাদের কিছুই
গোপন থাকবে না। আজ রাজত্ব
কার? এক প্রবল পরাক্রান্ত
আল্লাহর।
The Day when they
will (all) come out,
nothing of them will
be hidden from Allâh.
Whose is the
kingdom this Day?
(Allâh Himself will
reply to His Question)
: It is Allâh’s the One,
the Irresistible!
ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ ﺗُﺠْﺰَﻯ ﻛُﻞُّ ﻧَﻔْﺲٍ ﺑِﻤَﺎ
ﻛَﺴَﺒَﺖْ ﻟَﺎ ﻇُﻠْﻢَ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ ﺇِﻥَّ
ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﺳَﺮِﻳﻊُ ﺍﻟْﺤِﺴَﺎﺏِ
(17
আজ প্রত্যেকেই তার
কৃতকর্মের প্রতিদান পাবে।
আজ যুলুম নেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ
দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
This Day shall every
person be
recompensed for
what he earned. No
injustice (shall be
done to anybody).
Truly, Allâh is Swift in
reckoning.
ﻭَﺃَﻧﺬِﺭْﻫُﻢْ ﻳَﻮْﻡَ ﺍﻟْﺂﺯِﻓَﺔِ ﺇِﺫِ
ﺍﻟْﻘُﻠُﻮﺏُ ﻟَﺪَﻯ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻨَﺎﺟِﺮِ
ﻛَﺎﻇِﻤِﻴﻦَ ﻣَﺎ ﻟِﻠﻈَّﺎﻟِﻤِﻴﻦَ ﻣِﻦْ
ﺣَﻤِﻴﻢٍ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺷَﻔِﻴﻊٍ ﻳُﻄَﺎﻉُ
(18
আপনি তাদেরকে আসন্ন দিন
সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করুন, যখন
প্রাণ কন্ঠাগত হবে, দম বন্ধ
হওয়ার উপক্রম হবে।
পাপিষ্ঠদের জন্যে কোন বন্ধু
নেই এবং সুপারিশকারীও নেই;
যার সুপারিশ গ্রাহ্য হবে।
And warn them (O
Muhammad SAW) of
the Day that is
drawing near (i.e. the
Day of Resurrection),
when the hearts will
be choking the
throats, and they can
neither return them
(hearts) to their
chests nor can they
throw them out.
There will be no
friend, nor an
intercessor for the
Zâlimûn (polytheists
and wrong-doers,
etc.), who could be
given heed to.
ﻳَﻌْﻠَﻢُ ﺧَﺎﺋِﻨَﺔَ ﺍﻟْﺄَﻋْﻴُﻦِ ﻭَﻣَﺎ
ﺗُﺨْﻔِﻲ ﺍﻟﺼُّﺪُﻭﺭُ
(19
চোখের চুরি এবং অন্তরের
গোপন বিষয় তিনি জানেন।
Allâh knows the
fraud of the eyes, and
all that the breasts
conceal.
ﻭَﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻳَﻘْﻀِﻲ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺤَﻖِّ
ﻭَﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻳَﺪْﻋُﻮﻥَ ﻣِﻦ ﺩُﻭﻧِﻪِ ﻟَﺎ
ﻳَﻘْﻀُﻮﻥَ ﺑِﺸَﻲْﺀٍ ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ
ﻫُﻮَ ﺍﻟﺴَّﻤِﻴﻊُ ﺍﻟْﺒَﺼِﻴﺮُ
(20
আল্লাহ ফয়সালা করেন
সঠিকভাবে, আল্লাহর
পরিবর্তে তারা যাদেরকে ডাকে,
তারা কিছুই ফয়সালা করে না।
নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু শুনেন,
সবকিছু দেখেন।
And Allâh judges
with truth, while
those to whom they
invoke besides Him,
cannot judge
anything. Certainly,
Allâh! He is the All-
Hearer, the All-Seer.
ﺃَﻭَ ﻟَﻢْ ﻳَﺴِﻴﺮُﻭﺍ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺭْﺽِ
ﻓَﻴَﻨﻈُﺮُﻭﺍ ﻛَﻴْﻒَ ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻋَﺎﻗِﺒَﺔُ
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﻛَﺎﻧُﻮﺍ ﻣِﻦ ﻗَﺒْﻠِﻬِﻢْ
ﻛَﺎﻧُﻮﺍ ﻫُﻢْ ﺃَﺷَﺪَّ ﻣِﻨْﻬُﻢْ ﻗُﻮَّﺓً
ﻭَﺁﺛَﺎﺭًﺍ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺭْﺽِ
ﻓَﺄَﺧَﺬَﻫُﻢُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﺑِﺬُﻧُﻮﺑِﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﻣَﺎ
ﻛَﺎﻥَ ﻟَﻬُﻢ ﻣِّﻦَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﻣِﻦ ﻭَﺍﻕٍ

তারা কি দেশ-বিদেশ ভ্রমণ
করে না, যাতে দেখত তাদের
পূর্বসুরিদের কি পরিণাম
হয়েছে? তাদের শক্তি ও
কীর্তি পৃথিবীতে এদের
অপেক্ষা অধিকতর ছিল।
অতঃপর আল্লাহ
তাদেরকে তাদের গোনাহের
কারণে ধৃত করেছিলেন
এবং আল্লাহ
থেকে তাদেরকে রক্ষাকারী কেউ
হয়নি।
Have they not
travelled in the land
and seen what was
the end of those who
were before them?
They were superior
to them in strength,
and in the traces
(which they left) in
the land. But Allâh
seized them with
punishment for their
sins. And none had
they to protect them
from Allâh.
ﺫَﻟِﻚَ ﺑِﺄَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻛَﺎﻧَﺖ ﺗَّﺄْﺗِﻴﻬِﻢْ
ﺭُﺳُﻠُﻬُﻢ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺒَﻴِّﻨَﺎﺕِ ﻓَﻜَﻔَﺮُﻭﺍ
ﻓَﺄَﺧَﺬَﻫُﻢُ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﺇِﻧَّﻪُ ﻗَﻮِﻱٌّ
ﺷَﺪِﻳﺪُ ﺍﻟْﻌِﻘَﺎﺏِ

এর কারণ এই যে, তাদের
কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট
নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে আগমন
করত, অতঃপর তারা কাফের
হয়ে যায়, তখন আল্লাহ তাদের
ধৃত করেন। নিশ্চয়
তিনি শক্তিধর, কঠোর
শাস্তিদাতা।
That was because
there came to them
their Messengers
with clear evidences,
proofs and signs but
they disbelieved (in
them). So Allâh
seized them with
punishment. Verily,
He is All-Strong,
Severe in
punishment.
ﻭَﻟَﻘَﺪْ ﺃَﺭْﺳَﻠْﻨَﺎ ﻣُﻮﺳَﻰ ﺑِﺂﻳَﺎﺗِﻨَﺎ
ﻭَﺳُﻠْﻄَﺎﻥٍ ﻣُّﺒِﻴﻦٍ

আমি আমার নিদর্শনাবলী ও
স্পষ্ট প্রমাণসহ মূসাকে প্রেরণ
করেছি।
And indeed We sent
Mûsa (Moses) with
Our Ayât (proofs,
evidences, verses,
lessons, signs,
revelations, etc.), and
a manifest authority,
ﺇِﻟَﻰ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥَ ﻭَﻫَﺎﻣَﺎﻥَ
ﻭَﻗَﺎﺭُﻭﻥَ ﻓَﻘَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ ﺳَﺎﺣِﺮٌ
ﻛَﺬَّﺍﺏٌ
(24
ফেরাউন, হামান ও কারুণের
কাছে, অতঃপর তারা বলল,
সে তো জাদুকর, মিথ্যাবাদী।
To Fir’aun (Pharaoh),
Hâmân and Qârûn
(Korah), but they
called (him): ”A
sorcerer, a liar!”
ﻓَﻠَﻤَّﺎ ﺟَﺎﺀﻫُﻢ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺤَﻖِّ ﻣِﻦْ
ﻋِﻨﺪِﻧَﺎ ﻗَﺎﻟُﻮﺍ ﺍﻗْﺘُﻠُﻮﺍ ﺃَﺑْﻨَﺎﺀ
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳﻦَ ﺁﻣَﻨُﻮﺍ ﻣَﻌَﻪُ ﻭَﺍﺳْﺘَﺤْﻴُﻮﺍ
ﻧِﺴَﺎﺀﻫُﻢْ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻛَﻴْﺪُ
ﺍﻟْﻜَﺎﻓِﺮِﻳﻦَ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻓِﻲ ﺿَﻠَﺎﻝٍ

অতঃপর মূসা যখন আমার কাছ
থেকে সত্যসহ তাদের
কাছে পৌঁছাল; তখন তারা বলল,
যারা তার সঙ্গী হয়ে বিশ্বাস
স্থাপন করেছে, তাদের পুত্র
সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা কর, আর
তাদের নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখ।
কাফেরদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থই
হয়েছে।
Then, when he
brought them the
Truth from Us, they
said: ”Kill the sons of
those who believe
with him and let
their women live”,
but the plots of
disbelievers are
nothing but errors!
ﻭَﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥُ ﺫَﺭُﻭﻧِﻲ ﺃَﻗْﺘُﻞْ
ﻣُﻮﺳَﻰ ﻭَﻟْﻴَﺪْﻉُ ﺭَﺑَّﻪُ ﺇِﻧِّﻲ
ﺃَﺧَﺎﻑُ ﺃَﻥ ﻳُﺒَﺪِّﻝَ ﺩِﻳﻨَﻜُﻢْ ﺃَﻭْ
ﺃَﻥ ﻳُﻈْﻬِﺮَ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺭْﺽِ
ﺍﻟْﻔَﺴَﺎﺩَ

ফেরাউন বলল;
তোমরা আমাকে ছাড়,
মূসাকে হত্যা করতে দাও,
ডাকুক সে তার পালনকর্তাকে!
আমি আশংকা করি যে,
সে তোমাদের ধর্ম পরিবর্তন
করে দেবে অথবা সে দেশময়
বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করবে।
Fir’aun (Pharaoh)
said: ”Leave me to
kill Mûsa (Moses), and
let him call his Lord
(to stop me from
killing him)! I fear
that he may change
your religion, or that
he may cause
mischief to appear in
the land!”
ﻭَﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻣُﻮﺳَﻰ ﺇِﻧِّﻲ ﻋُﺬْﺕُ
ﺑِﺮَﺑِّﻲ ﻭَﺭَﺑِّﻜُﻢ ﻣِّﻦ ﻛُﻞِّ
ﻣُﺘَﻜَﺒِّﺮٍ ﻟَّﺎ ﻳُﺆْﻣِﻦُ ﺑِﻴَﻮْﻡِ
ﺍﻟْﺤِﺴَﺎﺏِ
(27
মূসা বলল, যারা হিসাব
দিবসে বিশ্বাস করে না এমন
প্রত্যেক
অহংকারী থেকে আমি আমার ও
তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আশ্রয়
নিয়ে নিয়েছি।
Mûsa (Moses) said:
”Verily, I seek refuge
in my Lord and your
Lord from every
arrogant who
believes not in the
Day of Reckoning!”
ﻭَﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺭَﺟُﻞٌ ﻣُّﺆْﻣِﻦٌ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺁﻝِ
ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥَ ﻳَﻜْﺘُﻢُ ﺇِﻳﻤَﺎﻧَﻪُ
ﺃَﺗَﻘْﺘُﻠُﻮﻥَ ﺭَﺟُﻠًﺎ ﺃَﻥ ﻳَﻘُﻮﻝَ
ﺭَﺑِّﻲَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻭَﻗَﺪْ ﺟَﺎﺀﻛُﻢ
ﺑِﺎﻟْﺒَﻴِّﻨَﺎﺕِ ﻣِﻦ ﺭَّﺑِّﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺇِﻥ ﻳَﻚُ
ﻛَﺎﺫِﺑًﺎ ﻓَﻌَﻠَﻴْﻪِ ﻛَﺬِﺑُﻪُ ﻭَﺇِﻥ ﻳَﻚُ
ﺻَﺎﺩِﻗًﺎ ﻳُﺼِﺒْﻜُﻢ ﺑَﻌْﺾُ
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﻳَﻌِﺪُﻛُﻢْ ﺇِﻥَّ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪَ ﻟَﺎ
ﻳَﻬْﺪِﻱ ﻣَﻦْ ﻫُﻮَ ﻣُﺴْﺮِﻑٌ
ﻛَﺬَّﺍﺏٌ

ফেরাউন গোত্রের এক মুমিন
ব্যক্তি, যে তার ঈমান গোপন
রাখত, সে বলল,
তোমরা কি একজনকে এজন্যে
হত্যা করবে যে, সে বলে, আমার
পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ, অথচ
সে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার
নিকট থেকে স্পষ্ট প্রমাণসহ
তোমাদের নিকট আগমন
করেছে? যদি সে মিথ্যাবাদী হয়,
তবে তার মিথ্যাবাদিতা তার
উপরই চাপবে, আর
যদি সে সত্যবাদী হয়,
তবে সে যে শাস্তির কথা বলছে,
তার কিছু না কিছু তোমাদের
উপর পড়বেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ
সীমালংঘনকারী,
মিথ্যাবাদীকে পথ প্রদর্শন
করেন না।
And a believing man
of Fir’aun’s (Pharaoh)
family, who hid his
faith said: ”Would
you kill a man
because he says: My
Lord is Allâh, and he
has come to you with
clear signs (proofs)
from your Lord? And
if he is a liar, upon
him will be (the sin
of) his lie; but if he is
telling the truth, then
some of that
(calamity) wherewith
he threatens you will
befall on you.” Verily,
Allâh guides not one
who is a Musrif (a
polytheist, or a
murderer who shed
blood without a
right, or those who
commit great sins,
oppressor,
transgressor), a liar!
ﻳَﺎ ﻗَﻮْﻡِ ﻟَﻜُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﻤُﻠْﻚُ ﺍﻟْﻴَﻮْﻡَ
ﻇَﺎﻫِﺮِﻳﻦَ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺭْﺽِ
ﻓَﻤَﻦ ﻳَﻨﺼُﺮُﻧَﺎ ﻣِﻦ ﺑَﺄْﺱِ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ
ﺇِﻥْ ﺟَﺎﺀﻧَﺎ ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥُ ﻣَﺎ
ﺃُﺭِﻳﻜُﻢْ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻣَﺎ ﺃَﺭَﻯ ﻭَﻣَﺎ
ﺃَﻫْﺪِﻳﻜُﻢْ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﺳَﺒِﻴﻞَ ﺍﻟﺮَّﺷَﺎﺩِ

হে আমার কওম, আজ
এদেশে তোমাদেরই রাজত্ব,
দেশময় তোমরাই বিচরণ করছ;
কিন্তু আমাদের আল্লাহর
শাস্তি এসে গেলে কে আমাদেরকে
সাহায্য করবে? ফেরাউন বলল,
আমি যা বুঝি, তোমাদেরকে তাই
বোঝাই, আর
আমি তোমাদেরকে মঙ্গলের
পথই দেখাই।
”O my people! Yours
is the kingdom this
day, you are
uppermost in the
land. But who will
save us from the
Torment of Allâh,
should it befall us?”
Fir’aun (Pharaoh)
said: ”I show you
only that which I see
(correct), and I guide
you only to the path
of right policy!”
ﻭَﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻱ ﺁﻣَﻦَ ﻳَﺎ ﻗَﻮْﻡِ
ﺇِﻧِّﻲ ﺃَﺧَﺎﻑُ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢ ﻣِّﺜْﻞَ
ﻳَﻮْﻡِ ﺍﻟْﺄَﺣْﺰَﺍﺏِ

সে মুমিন
ব্যক্তি বললঃ হে আমার কওম,
আমি তোমাদের
জন্যে পূর্ববর্তী
সম্প্রদায়সমূহের মতই
বিপদসঙ্কুল দিনের
আশংকা করি।
And he who believed
said: ”O my people!
Verily, I fear for you a
fate like that day (of
disaster) of the
Confederates (of old)!
