37) সূরা আস-সাফফাত (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 182

ﻓَﺤَﻖَّ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻨَﺎ ﻗَﻮْﻝُ ﺭَﺑِّﻨَﺎ ﺇِﻧَّﺎ
ﻟَﺬَﺍﺋِﻘُﻮﻥَ
(31
আমাদের বিপক্ষে আমাদের
পালনকর্তার উক্তিই সত্য
হয়েছে। আমাদেরকে অবশই
স্বাদ আস্বাদন করতে হবে।
”So now the Word of
our Lord has been
justified against us,
that we shall
certainly (have to)
taste (the torment).
ﻓَﺄَﻏْﻮَﻳْﻨَﺎﻛُﻢْ ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﻛُﻨَّﺎ ﻏَﺎﻭِﻳﻦَ
(32
আমরা তোমাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট
করেছিলাম। কারণ
আমরা নিজেরাই পথভ্রষ্ট
ছিলাম।
”So we led you astray
because we were
ourselves astray.”
ﻓَﺈِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻳَﻮْﻣَﺌِﺬٍ ﻓِﻲ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺬَﺍﺏِ
ﻣُﺸْﺘَﺮِﻛُﻮﻥَ
(33
তারা সবাই সেদিন
শান্তিতে শরীক হবে।
Then verily, that Day,
they will (all) share in
the torment.
ﺇِﻧَّﺎ ﻛَﺬَﻟِﻚَ ﻧَﻔْﻌَﻞُ
ﺑِﺎﻟْﻤُﺠْﺮِﻣِﻴﻦَ
(34
অপরাধীদের
সাথে আমি এমনি ব্যবহার
করে থাকি।
Certainly, that is how
We deal with Al­
Mujrimûn
(polytheists, sinners,
criminals, the
disobedient to Allâh,
etc.).
ﺇِﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻛَﺎﻧُﻮﺍ ﺇِﺫَﺍ ﻗِﻴﻞَ ﻟَﻬُﻢْ ﻟَﺎ
ﺇِﻟَﻪَ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪُ ﻳَﺴْﺘَﻜْﺒِﺮُﻭﻥَ
(35
তাদের যখন বলা হত, আল্লাহ
ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য েনই,
তখন তারা ঔদ্ধত্য প্রদর্শন
করত।
Truly, when it was
said to them: Lâ ilâha
ill-Allâh ”(none has
the right to be
worshipped but
Allâh),” they puffed
themselves up with
pride (i.e. denied it).
ﻭَﻳَﻘُﻮﻟُﻮﻥَ ﺃَﺋِﻨَّﺎ ﻟَﺘَﺎﺭِﻛُﻮﺍ ﺁﻟِﻬَﺘِﻨَﺎ
ﻟِﺸَﺎﻋِﺮٍ ﻣَّﺠْﻨُﻮﻥٍ
(36
এবং বলত, আমরা কি এক
উম্মাদ কবির কথায় আমাদের
উপাস্যদেরকে পরিত্যাগ করব।
And (they) said: ”Are
we going to abandon
our âliha (gods) for
the sake of a mad
poet?
ﺑَﻞْ ﺟَﺎﺀ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺤَﻖِّ ﻭَﺻَﺪَّﻕَ
ﺍﻟْﻤُﺮْﺳَﻠِﻴﻦَ
(37
না, তিনি সত্যসহ আগমন
করেছেন এবং রসূলগণের
সত্যতা স্বীকার করেছেন।
Nay! he (Muhammad
SAW) has come with
the truth (i.e. Allâh’s
Religion - Islâmic
Monotheism and this
Qur’ân) and he
confirms the
Messengers (before
him who brought
Allâh’s religion -
Islâmic Monotheism).
ﺇِﻧَّﻜُﻢْ ﻟَﺬَﺍﺋِﻘُﻮ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺬَﺍﺏِ ﺍﻟْﺄَﻟِﻴﻢِ
(38
তোমরা অবশ্যই বেদনাদায়ক
শাস্তি আস্বাদন করবে।
Verily, you (pagans of
Makkah) are going to
taste the painful
torment;
ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﺗُﺠْﺰَﻭْﻥَ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻣَﺎ ﻛُﻨﺘُﻢْ
ﺗَﻌْﻤَﻠُﻮﻥَ
(39
তোমরা যা করতে, তারই
প্রতিফল পাবে।
And you will be
requited nothing
except for what you
used to do (evil
deeds, sins, and
Allâh’s disobedience
which you used to do
in this world);
ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻋِﺒَﺎﺩَ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺍﻟْﻤُﺨْﻠَﺼِﻴﻦَ
(40
তবে তারা নয়, যারা আল্লাহর
বাছাই করা বান্দা।
Save the chosen
slaves of Allâh
(faithful, obedient,
true believers of
Islâmic Monotheism).
ﺃُﻭْﻟَﺌِﻚَ ﻟَﻬُﻢْ ﺭِﺯْﻕٌ ﻣَّﻌْﻠُﻮﻡٌ
(41
তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে নির্ধারিত
রুযি।
For them there will
be a known provision
(in Paradise).
ﻓَﻮَﺍﻛِﻪُ ﻭَﻫُﻢ ﻣُّﻜْﺮَﻣُﻮﻥَ
(42
ফল-মূল এবং তারা সম্মানিত।
Fruits; and they shall
be honoured,
ﻓِﻲ ﺟَﻨَّﺎﺕِ ﺍﻟﻨَّﻌِﻴﻢِ
(43
নেয়ামতের উদ্যানসমূহ।
In the Gardens of
delight (Paradise),
ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺳُﺮُﺭٍ ﻣُّﺘَﻘَﺎﺑِﻠِﻴﻦَ
(44
মুখোমুখি হয়ে আসনে আসীন।
Facing one another
on thrones,
ﻳُﻄَﺎﻑُ ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻬِﻢ ﺑِﻜَﺄْﺱٍ ﻣِﻦ
ﻣَّﻌِﻴﻦٍ
(45
তাদেরকে ঘুরে ফিরে পরিবেশন
করা হবে স্বচ্ছ পানপাত্র।
Round them will be
passed a cup of pure
wine;
ﺑَﻴْﻀَﺎﺀ ﻟَﺬَّﺓٍ ﻟِّﻠﺸَّﺎﺭِﺑِﻴﻦَ
(46
সুশুভ্র, যা পানকারীদের
জন্যে সুস্বাদু।
White, delicious to
the drinkers,
ﻟَﺎ ﻓِﻴﻬَﺎ ﻏَﻮْﻝٌ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﻫُﻢْ ﻋَﻨْﻬَﺎ
ﻳُﻨﺰَﻓُﻮﻥَ
(47
তাতে মাথা ব্যথার উপাদান নেই
এবং তারা তা পান
করে মাতালও হবে না।
Neither they will
have Ghoul (any kind
of hurt, abdominal
pain, headache, a sin,
etc.) from that, nor
will they suffer
intoxication
therefrom.
ﻭَﻋِﻨْﺪَﻫُﻢْ ﻗَﺎﺻِﺮَﺍﺕُ ﺍﻟﻄَّﺮْﻑِ
ﻋِﻴﻦٌ
(48
তাদের কাছে থাকবে নত,
আয়তলোচনা তরুণীগণ।
And with them will
be chaste females,
restraining their
glances (desiring
none except their
husbands), with wide
and beautiful eyes.
ﻛَﺄَﻧَّﻬُﻦَّ ﺑَﻴْﺾٌ ﻣَّﻜْﻨُﻮﻥٌ
(49
যেন তারা সুরক্ষিত ডিম।
(Delicate and pure) as
if they were (hidden)
eggs (well)
preserved.
ﻓَﺄَﻗْﺒَﻞَ ﺑَﻌْﻀُﻬُﻢْ ﻋَﻠَﻰ
ﺑَﻌْﺾٍ ﻳَﺘَﺴَﺎﺀﻟُﻮﻥَ
(50
অতঃপর তারা একে অপরের
দিকে মুখ করে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ
করবে।
Then they will turn
to one another,
mutually
questioning.
ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻗَﺎﺋِﻞٌ ﻣِّﻨْﻬُﻢْ ﺇِﻧِّﻲ ﻛَﺎﻥَ
ﻟِﻲ ﻗَﺮِﻳﻦٌ
(51
তাদের একজন বলবে, আমার
এক সঙ্গী ছিল।
A speaker of them
will say: ”Verily, I had
a companion (in the
world),
ﻳَﻘُﻮﻝُ ﺃَﺋِﻨَّﻚَ ﻟَﻤِﻦْ
ﺍﻟْﻤُﺼَﺪِّﻗِﻴﻦَ
(52
সে বলত, তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর
যে,
Who used to say:
”Are you among
those who believe (in
resurrection after
death).
ﺃَﺋِﺬَﺍ ﻣِﺘْﻨَﺎ ﻭَﻛُﻨَّﺎ ﺗُﺮَﺍﺑًﺎ ﻭَﻋِﻈَﺎﻣًﺎ
ﺃَﺋِﻨَّﺎ ﻟَﻤَﺪِﻳﻨُﻮﻥَ
(53
আমরা যখন মরে যাব
এবং মাটি ও হাড়ে পরিণত হব,
তখনও কি আমরা প্রতিফল
প্রাপ্ত হব?
”(That) when we die
and become dust and
bones, shall we
indeed (be raised up)
to receive reward or
punishment
(according to our
deeds)?”
ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﻫَﻞْ ﺃَﻧﺘُﻢ ﻣُّﻄَّﻠِﻌُﻮﻥَ
(54
আল্লাহ বলবেন,
তোমরা কি তাকে উকি দিয়ে
দেখতে চাও?
(The man) said: ”Will
you look down?”
ﻓَﺎﻃَّﻠَﻊَ ﻓَﺮَﺁﻩُ ﻓِﻲ ﺳَﻮَﺍﺀ
ﺍﻟْﺠَﺤِﻴﻢِ
(55
অপর
সে উকি দিয়ে দেখবে এবং তাকে
জাহান্নামের
মাঝখানে দেখতে পাবে।
So he looked down
and saw him in the
midst of the Fire.
ﻗَﺎﻝَ ﺗَﺎﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﺇِﻥْ ﻛِﺪﺕَّ ﻟَﺘُﺮْﺩِﻳﻦِ
(56
সে বলবে, আল্লাহর কসম,
তুমি তো আমাকে প্রায় ধ্বংসই
করে দিয়েছিলে।
He said: ”By Allâh!
You have nearly
ruined me.
ﻭَﻟَﻮْﻟَﺎ ﻧِﻌْﻤَﺔُ ﺭَﺑِّﻲ ﻟَﻜُﻨﺖُ ﻣِﻦَ
ﺍﻟْﻤُﺤْﻀَﺮِﻳﻦَ
(57
আমার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ
না হলে আমিও
যে গ্রেফতারকৃতদের সাথেই
উপস্থিত হতাম।
”Had it not been for
the Grace of my Lord,
I would certainly
have been among
those brought forth
(to Hell).”
ﺃَﻓَﻤَﺎ ﻧَﺤْﻦُ ﺑِﻤَﻴِّﺘِﻴﻦَ
(58
এখন আমাদের আর মৃত্যু
হবে না।
(Allâh informs about
that true believer
that he said): ”Are we
then not to die (any
more)?
ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﻣَﻮْﺗَﺘَﻨَﺎ ﺍﻟْﺄُﻭﻟَﻰ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﻧَﺤْﻦُ
ﺑِﻤُﻌَﺬَّﺑِﻴﻦَ
(59
আমাদের প্রথম মৃত্যু
ছাড়া এবং আমরা শাস্তি
প্রাপ্তও হব না।
”Except our first
death, and we shall
not be punished?
(after we have
entered Paradise).”
ﺇِﻥَّ ﻫَﺬَﺍ ﻟَﻬُﻮَ ﺍﻟْﻔَﻮْﺯُ ﺍﻟْﻌَﻈِﻴﻢُ
(60
নিশ্চয় এই মহা সাফল্য।
Truly, this is the
supreme success!
